Salmon Run Campground & Cabins is a family owned and operated campground located just outside Haines, Alaska offering 18 electrical sites (30/50 amp), 18 dry sites (tent/RV, group sites) and Campin’ Cabins. Located in a beautiful, forested setting overlooking Lutak Inlet with miles of water and mountain views! Enjoy a year-round creek and stream, access to the inlet shoreline, fishing, and hiking. Wildlife viewing of eagles, mountain goats, whales, sea lions, bears, marine birds, and more. Nice restrooms and showers, firewood, fish freezer, RV/boat storage (short term for our traveling guests), fishing licenses, laundry, mini market and WIFI. We are located 1.8 miles from the ferry terminal and boat ramp, and 3 miles from Chilkoot River and Chilkoot Lake offering great bicycling, fishing, kayaking, and bear viewing opportunities. 6.5 beautiful miles to downtown Haines, Alaska. Travel, sightseeing, and tour information available. Caravans/groups welcome. We can accommodate any RV length and tip outs. Pet friendly. Electrical Sites
We offer 18 electrical sites with 30 or 50 amp service. All electrical sites have a commanding view of Lutak Inlet and can accomodate any size RV and tipouts. Watch the fisherman work the canal, goats grazing on the mountains, waterfalls, eagles, ferries, and much more right from your campsite! Dry Sites
These spacious sites are wooded and offer forest, inlet or creekside views! RV's or tents are welcome in these sites and group sites are available. Restrooms and showers are located at the back of the main office. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. $17.00/night *Plus 4% borough tax |
Campin' Cabins
Our heated Campin' Cabins are comfortable and spacious with several sleeping arrangement options including log bunks with comfortable sleeping cushions or a traditional king size bed (king bed includes linens). Each cabin has a covered porch with seating, fire ring, picnic table, and table/chairs inside cabin. Cabins have expansive mountain and inlet views. Bathrooms and showers are located at the back of the office and are conveniently located directly across from the cabins.
